Hi, I’m Maura Mackey founder of Maura Mackey Design based in Ballinhassig, County Cork, Ireland. I love creating beautiful, one of a kind interior designs for you my clients. My experience to date coupled with my love of interiors have provided me with a unique understanding of and appreciation for the latest design trends. If you are building a new home, doing a renovation, upstyling a room/rooms in your home or selling your home I am here to help. My eye for detail and passion for interiors will guide you to create a beautifully designed and functional space.

I love to help people who want to redesign, renovate, build and sell properties- with my vast experience in the interior design field, we will create that wow factor for you!
I have used dozens of trades people while completing my own extension and renovation projects ,and also through the course of my work as an interior designer. On that journey I have met many a cowboy. From my experience I can now say I have a team of contractors that are the best of the best. No more cowboys, no more Indians, only star players are allowed on my team. I can refer any of my reliable trades to you, for your projects should you need then.
It’s not just a job for me, I love attending conferences, courses and design shows and learning about new areas of design – for example recently learnt an in-depth knowledge of biophilic design where I can create an environment where I can merge the indoors with the outdoors! Which allows me to create a harmonious space for you, that will make you more creative and enhance your wellbeing.
I’m just a girl that loves interiors and has a serious fun loving attitude towards design.
